I am 30 years young, a life-long Long Islander, living on the north shore with my husband Nick and four legged furbaby, Loki. When i’m not editing your photos, I love being outdoors, hangin’ with family and friends, reading, walking, working out, watching my favorite shows (ahem, love island), making bread, cooking, and lastly, thinking about editing your photos :)

- I’m a huge empath, and tear up at everything (including at your wedding probably)
- My favorite color is green (which you’ll notice in my editing, I will never ever dull the greens of your day!)
- My favorite food is red lobster cheddar bay biscuits (i keep it classy)
- I don't have a favorite season, I find joy in all of them since they offer so many different vibes, especially being a photographer! I love snow and I love sun, whatever it is, bring it on!
- I’m also a fine artist! I’ve been drawing and painting for over 12 years. I originally got into the wedding industry as a live wedding painter.
- I have (accidentally) shattered 4 sets of salt and pepper shakers in the 3 years we have lived in our house. My husband wants us to buy plastic ones, but I refuse.

Art has always been a huge part of my life. In fact, my grandma introduced me to fine art (more specifically, drawing and painting) at an early age, and I grew up going to her gallery shows, watching her do what she loved. The only thing was that it was always just her hobby. I wanted more than a hobby or a “side hustle”, and having worked in corporate jobs for so many years left me feeling deeply unfulfilled. I knew I had to turn my passion for art into a career. So, Emma Leeann Art was born in 2015. I picked up a camera again in 2022, and later in 2023, evolved into Emma Leeann Photography and I never looked back. Couldn’t feel luckier to share this calling with my truly amazing clients!
