In this blog post, I’ll be going through the wedding photos you and your soon-to-be spouse will treasure forever! Not everybody’s wedding day is the same, but capturing the moments you hold the closest to your heart is my passion. Here are 5 of those must-have wedding photos:
1. Getting Ready Photos. I love being with you both at the start of the big day, taking photos of the day as it starts and unfolds. Your details are also so important to me, because it helps tell the story of your wedding day.

2. Groom’s reaction during first look. This is a photo you and your spouse will treasure forever because it shows real, raw emotion of seeing your fiance for the first time on your wedding day. It’s a super sweet, super special moment where the two of you will probably realize “OMG we’re getting married today!” It is my favorite wedding moment because it tends to be the most emotional, and I’m all about capturing those candid tears!

3. Of course, candids. Part of my priority as a wedding photographer is making sure I’m including true candids in your wedding galleries. While part of my process includes some natural posing, I love to make sure I’m giving my couples time to just ~be~ and take in the joy of the day. It helps to make sure you remember, not just how the day looked, but how it felt.

4. First Dance! Of course, your first dance is going to be a highlight of your wedding gallery. This moment is so beautiful, as all your guests watch you dance to the soundtrack of your love. Your first dance is one of my favorites, especially when it ends in a lift!

5. Cake Cutting! You spent money on that cake, you better be getting some cute photos with it! Not every couple has a cake cutting, and that’s totally okay. But for those that do, you’ll want your photographer around when that moment happens that you serve each other cake for the first time as a married couple. One of my favorite moments, especially when it’s done privately!
