Proposal and Engagement Photos at Vanderbilt Museum, Long Island NY

This past weekend, I photographed a beautiful proposal at Vanderbilt Museum in Centerport, NY. Ryan reached out to me about 2 months ago, and we spent many weeks trying to figure out the absolutely perfect spot for him to pop the question to his soon-to-be-fiance Dayna. Before long, we eventually landed on the Vanderbilt and we knew it would be absolutely perfect! It was Memorial Day Weekend, so it was important for Ryan to find the perfect spot that wasn’t mobbed with crowds or activities/shows/events/etc. Luckily, the weather was a bit on the chilly side and it wasn’t sunny out so we had the entire place to ourselves pretty much! Ryan got down on one knee among the Vanderbilt’s gorgeous, luscious gardens with Northport Bay in the background, and asked Dayna to be his wife. Dayna of course said yes through teary eyes, I was so happy for these two! We then took some engagement photos around the property before they went to lunch at Farm Italy in Huntington Village. What a special day for these two! I am so grateful to be a photographer here on Long Island, there are so many amazing places to take photos that will forever hold such special meaning.

TLDR; Vanderbilt is an amazing piece of property, worth every penny for your engagement photos. Want to learn how you can have your engagement photos, or even your wedding photos taken here? Inquire on my website and we’ll make it happen!!
